Nationwide changes valuation fees

Nationwide Building Society has today announced changes to its fee for valuations and home buyer reports.
It will continue to make no charge to remortgage customers, or those applying for subsequent additional borrowing. However, the minimum valuation fee for new customers will increase from £205 to £220, with the maximum fee increasing from £1670 to £1680.
Similarly, homebuyer report fees will increase to a minimum of £425, up from £350, with fees on properties worth over £1m arranged on a case by case basis.
